Dogs are smart. There is no doubt about that, but there are some dogs smarter than others. We know of dogs that learn many tricks and commands like fetch and play dead, while other pets graduate as guide dogs and are able to help humans with their daily chores. But have you ever met a pet that knows how to beg for money and spend it wisely?
Meet Bobby, an 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel residing in Jilin, China. This smart canine knows how to beg for money and then spends his winnings on nothing else than a tasty treats he buys himself.
The unusual trickster belongs to Wong Chun, a woman who owns a lottery stand, and when customers come in to purchase tickets, the four-legged genius knows how to trick them into giving him money.
He dances and barks around them until the regulars offer him a bill, and what’s more, the canine knows how to differentiate between low and high denomination bills, or regular pieces of papers. Bobby knows to always go for the highest currency bill.
Once he has the bill in his snouts he goes out to purchase his tasty treat. He usually buys chicken wings or a tasty sausage.
“I’m not sure when was the first time he bough food, but he is very smart and knows a lot,” said Chun.
Bobby learned this trick at just 2 years old and since then he has been looking forward to his routine of begging and then eating his tasty treat.
Good boy Bobby. Good boy.
