Loss of a pet is always difficult, made even more so when a pet is suffering and that critical decision needs to be made regarding quality of life.  Such was the case for Judith Perez and Steve Siegel when their Yorkie, King Louie,  was diagnosed with brain inflammation and fluid on his spine, making it nearly impossible for the little dog to walk.

Letting go is never easy, but Siegel came up with an idea on how to celebrate all that King Louie had brought into their lives.  As King Louie had once been the poster dog for a local charity event, appearing on area billboards, it seemed only fitting that a tribute of the same magnitude be made.  Two billboards are now up in Las Vegas, sharing for all the world to see the great impact made on his family by this tiny dog.

“A dose of cuteness, a dose of love, just made your day,” Perez told KSNV News3LV.

RIP, sweet boy. You will long be remembered.
