Four-year-old Border Collie Ci suffers from an acute case of ovinophobia: an irrational fear of sheep.

The irony is not lost on his owners, who say the poor dog developed a fear of sheep at a very early age after Jane Lippington took him out to the pasture for a visit when he was just a puppy. And while most herding dogs with similar afflictions would wind up in the unemployment line, Lippington says she and her husband adore Ci, and are willing to work around his shortcomings.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Lippington said: “He might be the worst sheepdog in Britain but there’s no way we would be without Ci, he’s part of the family.”
