Ozzy has been missing three weeks and his owner, Army veteran Lori Bilyou, is beside herself with worry.

Ozzy is a grey goldendoodle, and also Bilyou’s service dog. He helps her with mobility. He helps her copy with PTSD. They were paired up when Biyou returned from Afghanistan. Last month, however, Ozzy suffered a seizure that so frightened him, he took off running from their Newark, DE, home and has been missing ever since.

“We’ve had a lot of sightings,” Bilyou told ABC6. “The problem is trying to suss out real sightings from false sightings.”

But the retired Army Sergeant admits they haven’t come close to getting Ozzy back.

“One would hope we’re getting close,” she said. “We need people who are aware of their surroundings and if they notice him to call, not him call us.

A search party recently launched drones to aid in the search and they’ve set out food and donned night-vision goggles in an attempt to find him.
