New Bern, N.C., residents Greg and Leigh Wilkinson discuss losing their dog Teddy Bear near Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in 2006, and being reunited with her four years later. Teddy survived in a wilderness heavily populated with bears, alligators and wolves. Her owners were astounded to learn that she had survived. The camera operator was kind enough to stop just before the crying started.

  1. There is more to this story then meets the eye..there is no way dog would have survived in these woods 2 weeks let alone 4 years! Who really had the dog?
