How far would you go to try and find your lost dog?
Beth Edinger can’t answer that question. The Washington, D.C. dog owner has spent $10,00 in the search for her lost dog, Sassafras, and has no plans to stop any time soon. Edinger has hired a professional dog tracker, has printed thousands of lost dog flyers, and has even paid to have robo calls sent to 1,000 area homes.
“It is a lot of money and I don’t know when we started this we comprehended that,” Edinger said. “But knowing that she’s alive at this point we can’t say we’re giving up now.”
Sassafras is microchipped and was wearing a collar when she went missing. Anyone with information about the dog is asked to call call 202-664-2301.

How much would you spend in search for you missing child? That’s the way I feel about Penny, my Brittany.
How do they know for sure that the dog is alive?
What a nightmare for that family. A cautionary tail about using dog walkers. I couldn’t give up either if that happened, but they are “lucky” to have the extensive resources to do what most of us would like to do in a similar circumstance.
My T&T are family members so I’d spend what I needed to get mine back.
We all can understand that love, this dog reminds me a lot of my Brittany Spaniel! Atleast they have the tracker so they know she’s alive, I hope they find her soon.
