When hero rescuers arrived, they found a dog fighting to stay alive. The pet looked exhausted. His front paws were raw to the skin and his nails had been ripped off after the dog tried numerous time to scale out of the pond’s walls.

Firefighters pulled the dog from the water and transported him to a nearby vet where the canine received emergency care.
