Blue Buffalo’s Life Protection Formula Dog Food has been recalled by the company, but it’s not an E. coli issue this time. In fact, there are no foodborne illness issues in the food as of yet. However, there is a concern over moisture and mold growth, so it’s best to stop serving it to your dogs and get in on the recall.
The issue of “excessive” moisture and mold production affects the following:

Fortunately for Blue Buffalo, the batch that they’re concerned over is a relatively small one. The actual window of production for the possibly tainted food is within a two hour timeframe. Blue Buffalo is offering a full refund if you simply return the product to its place of purchase.
