Giveaway: Dublin Dog eco-Lucks Collars

by ADMIN

Life With Dogs is reader-supported. We may earn a small commission through products purchased using links on this page.

Dublin Dogs believes that dogs have a right to go out, get dirty and have fun, so they make products designed for that lifestyle. Stuff that takes a beating and keeps on truckin’. Stuff that doesn’t harbor dirt or bacteria. Stuff that’s meant for real dogs.

Each eco-Lucks collar is made from 1.5 recycled plastic water bottles and each leash is made from 2.5 recycled water bottles. The ink is water-based and eco-friendly, and all products are made in the USA.

And made well. We’ve been putting their collars to the test during one of the most muddy months of the year and three things are apparent:
  • The no-smell design works. Our labs do a very nice job of making their collars reek after a few weeks of mud season, and in that regard, they have been thwarted.
  • Construction is robust. Oversized buckles and beefy D-rings suggest a lasting design.
  • Cleaning is cake, and thus far our collars have held up to quite a few washings without any sign of wear. Given our back country location and the rugged terrain our dogs traverse, this is impressive in and of itself.

Dublin Dogs also offers a “Re-Gift, Re-Cycle, Re-Focus” program that provides consumers with a way to recycle their old collars and in return receive a 15 percent discount for Dublin Dog products. They will re-gift gently used collars (Dublin Dog or any other brand) to less fortunate dogs or properly dispose of non-reusable collars.
