To look at them, they seem like a regular pair, an adorable little girl with an adorable little puppy.  The last puppy in his litter, Julia’s mom knew the her daughter and this puppy were destined for one another. Julia and Walter are both deaf.
Jamie Holeman of the Pasadena Humane Society shared with CBS News, “He was initially overlooked by people who were not looking for a dog that couldn’t hear.” However, that was what made Walter the perfect dog for Julia who is now teaching the 7-month old puppy sign language so the two can communicate.
As the video says, “Whenever you feel different or lonely, remember Walter & Julia. Â There is someone out there for everyone.”
