Kissy is our LWD Adoptable Dog of the Day, and she is quite a special dog indeed.  She’s been through a lot in her eight years, but despite having lost and eye, she still LOVES people! There’s just no stopping Kissy!

Let’s Let the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley introduce Kissy:

Meet Kissy!

Kissy is an 8-year-old Chihuahua that is desperately seeking her forever home for the holidays! She has been with HSSPV for several months in search of a family to love her forever!  She is an absolute sweetheart and adores everyone!!  She is easy going, affectionate, and kind and is house trained.

Although Kissy is older, she loves to get outside for fresh air, sunshine, and short walks! Kissy had her eye removed due to an issue that is equivalent to glaucoma in humans.  Her condition had progressed beyond treatment so the eye was removed.  This doesn’t slow Kissy down one bit! She does, however, need daily drops in the right eye as preventative for rest of her life.  The drops are pricey so she needs a family that is willing to commit to caring for her.

She still has a lot of life and love left to give so please help us find her the perfect match!  Her adoption fee includes spaying, a microchip, vaccines, and a fourteen day limited health guarantee through Redstone Animal Hospital.  Please call The Humane Society of South Platte Valley if you are interested in meeting Kissy today! 303-703-2938
