My furkids do this ALL the time. Aiko (the kitten) will hold Lag Spike (the puppy) down to clean him. It often works the other way around too. Jack (puppy) and Shadow Fiend (possibly a small panther) don’t have the same relationship, but still snuggle. And Ezio (feral kitten), well, he’ll cuddle anyone and anything!!
Our 7 month old pittie girl gets cleaned up by our tom cat all the time. She is his pet and they have snuggled together since the first night. (But they won’t let us take pictures of them together.)

Classic! What I want to know is, where did that dog get the cool sheriff’s badge collar? My Dutch would love it.
