Man Saves Dog from Fire and Gets Arrested

In Mexico, Fernando Dominik witnessed how his neighbor’s home went up in flames. As any concerned neighbor, the man immediately called fire rescuers and while he waited for firefighters to arrive, the good citizen attempted to control the flames using his garden hose.

The civilian realized there was a trapped dog inside the home and entered the residence to rescue the canine, but once the hero civilian exited the burning home, police arrested him.

Neighbors, including the home and pet owner argued with authorities while the arrest took place. Witnesses tried to convince officers that Dominik was not a criminal, but authorities made the arrest because the dog rescuer jumped a security wall.

An hour after the arrest was made, Dominik was set free. Police superintendent declared his officers acted accordingly and enforced the law. For this reason, they were not reprimanded for arresting the hero and innocent man.

The dog suffered no injuries from the fire thanks to Dominik’s quick rescue. The brave man is considered a true hero by his neighbors and friends.
