Customers of the Pet Memorial Park in Cedar Hill, Texas are expressing concern over the county’s decision to auction off the property in order to collect back taxes owed.
Those concerns are understandable. When we select a final resting place for our pets, it is with forever in mind. But did you know that there is currently no law in Texas to protect pet cemeteries or the remains interred? We’ll take this as a lesson learned, and urge you to check local laws before selecting a burial plot for your pets – so that they may truly rest in peace.
