I received an e-mail from the Nevada Humane Society this evening and wanted to share the video and e-mail message. This has a very happy ending, and I applaud these fine folks for the work that they do, and for having a great sense of humor. Considering that they run a huge no kill shelter, it would be great if you could spread this around a little to make sure they get their props.
Hi Neil!
My name is Evan and I work with the Nevada Humane Society. I was wondering if you would consider posting a video we produced on your blog. It’s actually really funny – it’s an adoption spinoff of the famous JK Wedding Entrance Dance. Nevada Humane Society is one of the largest no kill shelters in the nation and as a result, they have a ton of animals in need of homes and we really hope this video will help them out.

*The wiseass in me is having a hard time not putting a cartoon balloon on that old man in the pic. He looks like he’s saying “All I wanted was a damn cat.”

That was REALLY good and those peoples were very much good dancers. But I was kinda thinking that that dog was NEVER gonna gets to go home. BOL! But I’m glad he finally did and I hope this helps ‘em gets lots of other doggies into their furever homes, too!

Oh, that was great. Those people did a pawsome job of dancing and celebrating. It would make us want to go right out and adopt if we hadn’t just done that. That’s gonna go viral among the DWB world fur sure.

That is absolutely an adorable thing to do for an adoption.
There used to be a Mexican cafe here in Raleigh. If they found out you were celebrating any thing all the wait staff would come out doing the Mexican hat dance it was so funny.

Now THAT is the way every new forever family should meet its new baby! It is wonderful to see such enthusiasm and celebration. I only wish every pup or kitty in need of a home got to do that dance!
