An impressive three minute dance routine if ever there was one. There was a similar video that went viral last year, but this clip has an even higher fun factor. Hang in there until the end, it’s adorable. This dog is brilliant.
WOW! I sure hope my two-legger doesn’t see this one…she took me to agility and someone told her about a dancing with your dog class. She has been threatening me with it ever since!
I am amazed she could stand on her feet for so long. Adorable! However, now my Duchess wants ME to learn how to dance. Not funny, guys!!! (Nigel must be behind this!)
Okay, I’m gonna be a hater on this one. I just kept thinking “that poor dog.” Why do people insist on trying to make dogs into little people?? I hated that the dog had a skirt on for starters… but then to train it to “dance” on its 2 hind legs for what seemed like an eternity… I’d call that abuse on some level. The “happy” look on its face is not because it enjoys dancing. That breed of dog is always going to have that expression. Let dogs be dogs.
Yes, I’m with you guys too. I’ve seen both videos and cringe my way through them. There’s no doubting the brilliance of the dog and trainer but I’d far rather watch Carolyn Scott and Rookie dance:-)
Learn to pick your battles – there are plenty of dogs out there suffering true abuse. The fact that you are willing to make an abuse accusation based solely on this footage is a bit extreme.
Too funny – I mean that as I’m sifting through endless emails, blogs etc. after our trip, I read (JUST) – an email from my husband’s brother, who sent us the exact same video! Am still stunned by the fact that a golden could possible stand and do a walkabout for 3 minutes on hind legs! Have never seen it before – incredible! Thanks for sharing – actually, I was going to use it as an intermission post between Camping Part 2 and 3 heheh! Ah well… Love this!

I thought i was the only one who noticed not only are the front legs neck and chest in need of the same excersise with that kind of training they make the dog feel that part cant hold them up i wonder how long that dog has had to walk around . and neck is weak i saw it at the end . the man rushed to stableize its neck .the only attention it gets when dancing . so its abuse

That is good. However does that dog stand up and dance for over 3 minutes?
That’s a LONG time to stand, I mean dance, on two legs. Amazing. Thankfully, the dog looks very happy!
I love the way the dog even tilts its head to spin under his arm… truly enjoying dancing with its friend. LOVE it!

she is very popular today with the blogs we have visited. We saw her other video a while ago, but loved this one too. She is so good.

How fun!!! The Bleu loves to dance but if he stood up on two legs, he would knock out all the light bulbs.
Just sayin.

I’m with you, Tank. Dogs do anything to please their master, and this just rubs me the wrong way.
