*Note: the entry period for this giveaway has closed.
Good and bad news today.
There has been substantial online buzz about Jim Gorant’s new book, The Lost Dogs. We were scheduled to post a review today, but in the bad news department, a shipping snag has delayed that by a week or so. Instead, I’ll refer you to a list of glowing reviews on Gorant’s site. This looks to be one of those books that should be on every dog lover’s list.
The good news: Review or no, we’re here to make sure one of you will have a chance to read it for yourself. As always, our giveaways are easy, and only e-mail subscribers are eligible. So how do you enter? Go find today’s daily digest e-mail from Life With Dogs in your inbox. Hit the reply button, type “enter me” in the subject, send and you’re done. Randomizer.org will be used to select a random lucky reader, who will be notified by e-mail. Not a subscriber? Fix that in five seconds here. We have giveaways planned for every week of the year, so the sooner you get on our e-mail list, the better your chances of taking home great freebies on us.
I”m sure one of you will be thrilled to read The Lost Dogs – so what are you waiting For? Go check your e-mail…and good luck!

I have had my eye on this one for months now! I sure wish we can win a copy for our humble little brood.
I’m in the queue to get The Lost Dogs from the library but I’d rather win a copy of my own!
Looks like a great book!!
as sad as the situation it would be an amazing read of joy to see how these dogs pulled through such a horrible beginning!
I just saw this book at the library, but I already had a pile of books picked out. I would love a copy of my own to read and pass around.
Dis book is on my mom’s wish list.

This book sounds great, to learn how these dogs are doing now. Looking forward to this book.
I want this book so please make sure you pick me!
I’ve read this book, and let me tell you, it is compelling. A warning – the first 75 pages or so are VERY hard to read. So much so that I almost quit reading several times just because it was so painful. But the balance of the book is just incredibly rewarding, so don’t stop reading! I do have some disturbing pictures in my head now that I don’t think I will ever forget, but I still highly recommend this book for anybody who loves dogs.
