The Saturday Pet Blogger Hop/Biker Dog

Before you dive in to this week’s blog hop fun, take a quick spin through the video below and meet biker dog. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably wondering why…

And if the dog could talk, it would probably say “Why not?” :)

That takes some training I would think. I just imagined trying it with one of my dogs . . . disaster!

This is a rejoinder to people who say, “I have to have a car…”

    Thanks for hosting the hop.

    Hawk aka BrownDog

    Hi Y’all,

I stopped to thank y’all for hosting another Saturday Blog Hop! But I got intrigued with the dog on the bike. Since my Human is ancient and never had a bike in her life (they just walked, went on horseback or, if too far, someone took them in a car)…I can’t figure out how the two of them dismount from their perches…???

    Y’all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

No surprise to me, as I recently returned from Thailand and this was commonplace there. We say many whole families on motor scooters, carrying babies and dogs, with children hanging off the sides of the scooters; it was scary, but it’s the way they do things. I just swallowed and said “Wow.”

Each time I saw one of these sights, I tried to capture a photo, but in a moving vehicle, it proved to be impossible. I’m glad someone has done it.

Thanks for hosting. I always enjoy these Saturday hops!

Loved the video! That dog looks very content riding back there. I sure couldn’t see Sage doing it though. First mud-puddle and she’d be off the bike and right in it!

That’s pretty neat. Wonder how long it took for the dog to learn to balance.

OT – How did you make the Facebook widget? I have tried (see my blog), but it does not show-up if one is not signed-in to Facebook.

Any help would be appreciated … thx!

I used the standard code provided by Facebook. Did you? I don’t think we have the same issue…

My dog in High School –Buttons road on my bike to the bank every Saturday morning to deposit the 50 cents per hour baby sitting money I made in our community of Crystal Lake IL. Always had at least $60 in there.

    Adventureweiner

I wish we could train our weiner dogs to do that! We always feel so guilty when we go biking and they have to stay home. I don’t think theu would be able to hold onto our mountain bikes though :)

Gotta a love a smart shar-pei to sit side-saddle on the back of a bike. I mean hey, why walk when you can roll………

Seems kinda cruel to me; not to mention the dog getting thrown off and run over waiting to happen. Although he does look at ease.
