There is no hope for that dog’s reputation! He may as well enter the Canine Protection Program and hope nobody guesses his new identity!

So cute! Now you know why the big Geese are so scary. They start training thier young ones early! Poor little ducky probably has bad eyesite and thought the dog was his mommy! LOL!

    Lori @ According to Gus

Sadly, this is exactly how I imagine Gus would react to a cute chick. He doesn’t bark, but he would definitely be whimpering and backing away.

Thanks for hosting another edition of the Saturday Pet Blogger Hop!

    Opie

That was one lucky duck. Opie might bark, but only in preparation of pouncing. That duck was very cute prey. I think this pup showed great generosity of spirit, acting against his genetic imperative. Also, Opie just switched to Duck and Potato and he loves it. This duckling might be more than he could endure.

    What a good pup!

That chick took the “terror” out of “terrier”, huh!

We had a parakeet named Peekaboo that once cornered a cat under the bed and kept it there until we returned home, pacing back and forth like a Sargent. The cat had upturned the cage, popped open the door and the bird took the alpha role. Wish I had footage!

Lucky ducky that the pup was feeling playful instead of preyful.

That is so cute! The duckling was just trying to make friends, but that was very brave of the little one.
I will not remind the ones who say “oh, what a scaredy dog” that they are often scared of bugs a lot smaller than they are. :)
    Happy Easter!

My interpretation – Ducking: “Are you my mother? Are you, are you?” Dog: “No! No! Nooooooo, I tell you!”

LOL. the more the duck advanced on the dog, the more the dog barked and backed away. either the duck wanted to play or was just trying to piss off the dog. lol

I think this was cruel to put such anxiety on both the animals…maybe introducing them in a different more cal manner would allow both to bond, instead of standing there filming what some think is funny. It’s not funny!!!

I don’t think the person filming would’ve filmed if this was not a daily occurence.. The dogs tail is wagging anf the ducky seeems to be the agressor.. I thought it was cute.. I have a 12lb Bishon and a 80 lb Collie.. the Collie could rip the Bishon to shreds but doesn’t and the lil dude is the agressor.. Don’t judge this person.
