Injured Dog Finds Shelter in Town Nativity Scene

gabriel

Last Friday someone spotted an addition to their Ohio town’s nativity scene – a sleeping pit bull. The injured dog sought shelter in the nativity scene’s manger. Now the dog, named Gabriel, is in the care of a foster family.

Officials in Glendale, Ohio responded to a call about a sleeping dog in the nativity scene and found him with injuries to both his eye and leg. They secured him and took him to Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic to be treated.

The rescue group Cincinnati Pit Crew stepped up to care for Gabriel and have him placed in a foster home.  He is expected to recover from his injuries and in a few weeks, Cincinnati Pit Crew will be looking for the right home for him.

Smart dog, got out of the weather, and found a nice warm bed of hay. With the holy family to watch over him, and keep him safe.

Are there any details as to how he got those injuries? If they were inflicted by some person, hope that person gets to pay for what they’ve done.
