Year after year the number one New Year’s resolution is to lose weight, but maybe this year we can include our best friends – yes, the four-legged type – in our New Year’s resolutions. After all, we are not the only ones over eating during the holidays.

  1. Get fit with Fido.
  2. Train for competitive events or simply train your dog to be better behaved.
  3. Volunteer at a shelter
  4. Walk your dog longer
  5. Play more with your pet
  6. Take Fido to the vet
  7. Groom your pet daily
  8. Brush your dog’s teeth
  9. Update pet ID info or microchip Fido
