I’ve Heard of Cowboys, but Cowdogs?

When you’re a Cowdog, you don’t always have to bark to communicate.

This beautiful boxer was on a walk with her humans, and came upon a field with some cows in it.  They seem to take to each other almost straight away, and no real fear or aggression from to cows nor the dog.  Now that is a well trained pup!

  1. Healers, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds are usually referred to as Cow Dogs, but a boxer in unusual.

  2. I’ve literally never seen this kind of behaviour before. That dog was more than happy to show submissive behaviour towards animals that dogs “supposedly” startle. Especially towards the end when it bared its chest.

    Also, cats are bastards.

  3. I think the cows “think” it’s a newborn calf, and the puppy “thinks” the cows are just very big dogs, LOL

  4. THE COWS ARE THINKING, “THAT’S A MIGHTY SMALL CALF.” AND THE DOG IS THINKING, “WHAT IS THIS BREED OF HOOVED DOGS?” 😉

  5. This is so wonderful, watching the curiosity and tenderness that animals have with each other if given the opportunity. Up there with the cat and dolphin clip.❤️

  6. Great to see a Boxer WITH a full tail and NATURAL ears!!! I hope that will become the new normal. The cows seem more curious about the dog.
