Jack and Chico are more than just best friends. The two middle-aged cattle dogs have a special bond. Chico has no eyes, so Jack acts as his seeing-eye dog. Recently the two ended up at a Denver animal shelter when their owner passed away. Now the two are in need of a loving home that can take both of them.
Jack and Chico spend all their time together. “They’re inseparable basically,” said shelter volunteer Kathy Kelly-Weston says. “They really don’t like being apart, especially Chico. It makes him kind of nervous.” Chico is able to get around on his own with the use of memory and sense of smell but with Jack by his side it makes things a lot easier.
