When Houston resident Cassidy discovered prairie dogs were a pet option, she researched for a full year before taking the plunge and adding these two scamps — Swarley and Bing — to her mini-zoo of a family.
Along with Biscuit the Labradoodle, Swarley and Bing also pal around with Hazel the hedgehog, Sprinkles the cat, two ducklings and a goat. On Instagram, the unique family goes by the handle “the Prairie Dog Pack.”
Despite his cool demeanor in these cute pics, Biscuit was not initially so thrilled to have Swarley and Bing as roommates, but he has since warmed up to them. The prairie dogs, per mom Cassidy, love all the neighborhood dogs and snuggle up with their fur siblings often (they even sleep in bed with their human mom).
