All She Needed Was a Hug

Shelters can be scary places, especially for a newcomer.  There are overwhelming smells and noises, and sometimes all someone needs is for a person to hug them and tell them everything will be alright.

Please visit your local shelter and spend a couple hours a week giving some scared and lonely animals the love they desperately need.

  1. I recently rescued one from the SPCA and all he ever wants is a hug. So sweet, I will never buy from a breeder again.

  2. I have 2 rescues — my second girl was returned to the shelter 3 times. She was nervous and frightened. It took us 4 days to encourage her to go off my porch and into the yard.
She is my sweetheart — she gives me plenty of love!
