Canine athletes from Germany, France, USA, Siberia, are going for the gold in the Doggy Olympics in Shrewsbury, NJ. Doggie diving in the bone-shaped pool has been an especially popular and competitive event.

Evan Moss is an exceptional 8-year-old boy who happens to have epilepsy, and he now has a new best friend. Her name is Mindy and she’s been trained to detect seizures. He wrote a book to raise money to buy his own service dog. He accomplished that, and was able to purchase 7 more service dogs for other people.

Emmylou Harris walks the talk, rescuing dogs on death row, educating people, and rehoming unadoptable dogs. On August 18 in Nashville, Emmylou will host the first annual Woofstock at Fontanel to benefit rescue.
