On July 15, 2014, heroes from Pinellas Park Fire Department, Fla., rescued a small, male dog after his home went up in flames.

The fire started around 8:00 a.m. and all six human residents of the home located on the 5900 block of 107 Terrace North, escaped unharmed. However, Casper, the white dog, remained trapped in the home and his owners feared the worst.

Luckily for the pet, when the fire rescue unit arrived, a brave firefighter entered the home to search for the pet. After a few intense minutes the hero man came out holding Casper in his arms.

Casper suffered no injuries from the fire and was reunited with his scared but grateful family members.
