Hope for Paws received a call about a dog someone had abandoned 11 months ago who was living under a dumpster. This poor dog was so frightened of people, he would hide in terror anytime anyone would approach him. Someone had been leaving food and water out for the dog, but no matter what, could not get him to come out. Using their trademark cheeseburgers, and soft touch, they finally convinced him to come out, and he is now in the good hands of the patient and loving people of Hope for Paws.
poor baby
so glad that they kept at it until they could get him to accept & trust them-poor sweet one,I shudder to think what he’d been through to make him that afraid.
Ok… is this one gonna be a tear jerker? I have tissues on hand.
Wonderful people!!
So sweet, made me cry!

Heelers are normally shy with strangers, but not quite THAT shy.
