For the ninth year in a row the national dog daycare franchise Dogtopia will be holding a charity dog wash to benefit charities that provide service dogs to veterans in need.
All twenty-nine Dogtopia locations across the country will be simultaneously participating in the fundraiser this year on July 21st. Dogs can receive a wash for a suggested donation of $15. There will be various other activities at the event including giveaways, food, photo booths and games.
“Bringing your dog in for a bath on National Wash Your Dog Day is an easy way for dog owners to make a profound impact in the life of a veteran,” said Dogtopia CEO Amy Nichols. “We’ve seen the Charity Dog Wash grow year after year, and are hoping to make this year’s event the most successful yet.”

Last year Dogtopia raised $21,000 with their Charity Dog Wash, and this year they are hoping to raise at least $30,000. Charities benefitting from the fundraiser include Veterans Moving Forward, Inc. and America’s VetDogs.
