Switzer spotted the puppy while he was walking into a store. She was in the back of a van with the windows cracked and he stopped to check on her. He waited for the owners to come out and offered to buy the puppy from them. Switzer then took her to the vet for a full checkup.
“I told the doc. I want rabies shots, check for worms, everything,” said Switzer. “They even clipped the toenails so it was a pedicure for her. She went to the spa.
Switzer is caring for the dog that he now calls Sassy, but he already has several dogs at his home and is looking to find a good home for her.
“I want some loving family who loves dogs and cares about dogs like I do to be able to have her,” said Switzer.
