Labeled a bad dog and scheduled to be put down after spending over 100 days languishing in a Texas shelter, Magnus has a new lease on life – thanks to hard work and commitment of dog trainer Kristen Madlinger.
Madlinger took the doomed dog in as part of the Extreme Mutt Makeover challenge, a terrific initiative that pairs troubled dogs with trainers. In this encouraging report from KSDK, Madlinger introduces us to a new, improved Magnus, and makes the strongest possible argument for using training to save the lives of shelter dogs.
