Work is the number one cause of stress, and for 77 percent of people, this stress takes a physical toll on them.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, *Dogswell, a producer of dog food and treats, launched a campaign called Unleash the Happy in an effort to show how dogs can minimize boredom, stress, and anxiety.

An office was emailed by Dogswell pretending to be a news crew conducting an interview on workplace stress and how it affects employees.  They didn’t tell the workers, but it was Take Your Dog to Work Day.

The “news crew” set up in the office, and then a horde of adorable dogs was brought in.  The workers were surprised and delighted.

Though productivity likely decreased, so did stress.  And hopefully some of these shelter dogs found some new homes!

  1. I don’t agree. I don’t think productivity decreased while the animals were there. It relieved the stress and, quite likely, made them more productive for the rest of the day than before they arrived.
