A crowd favorite took best in show at Westminster last evening.
Malachy the Pekingese celebrated his best in show win Tuesday night at the Westminster Kennel Club. The happy, bobbing pooch is no stranger to the podium: this is his 115th overall best in show title.
The 4-year-old beat out a Dalmatian, German shepherd, Doberman pinscher, Irish setter, a Kerry blue terrier and wire-haired dachshund in front of a packed house at Madison Square Garden.
Judge Cindy Vogels announced the winner to thunderous applause as fans cheered for their favorites. Malachy also recently won the prestigious Morris and Essex Dog Show in NJ, an exclusive show held every five years.
