Veterinarians and state agriculture leaders are urging Oklahoma pet and livestock owners to be vigilant about rabies vaccinations. So far this year, the state has identified 54 rabies cases – nearly twice the number for the same time period last year.

Cases have now been confirmed in 34 counties.
