The Wisconsin Humane Society is seeking help in saving Lady, a shelter dog that needs surgery to treat a debilitating knee condition.
A few weeks into her stay with the Wisconsin Humane Society Lady began to limp. Veterinarians discovered Lady had luxating patellas, a condition where the kneecaps pop out of place. Lady needs surgery or her knees will quickly deteriorate and she will be in pain.
The staff at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center has already stepped up to make a large contribution to Lady’s surgery fund and now the Wisconsin Humane Society is trying to raise $2,700 to cover the rest.
If you would like to help Lady live a healthier and happier life please make a donation at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s website.
They are also still looking for a home for Lady and are hopeful someone is able to take her in and help her recover in a home environment.
