Dog owners and their pets gathered in Randolph, NJ for speed dating dog-lover style at the Morris K-9 Campus. Dog lovers socialized in six-minute intervals in hopes of finding a romantic connection at Thursday’s event. About 40 humans circulated through the crowd. They carried Margarita glasses in one hand and leashes in the other.
It was the first speed dating event for the training center, and attendants are hooked on the concept. Geri Curran of Cranford says that if she does date, she wants to spend time with someone who loves animals. “You can tell a lot about a person by their dog — by the way they treat their dog,” said Curran.
