In Trotwood, Ohio, a dog is alive and well today thanks to quick acting firefighters who pulled the dog from a burning home. No one other than the pet was home at the time of the blaze. Authorities believe the fire was planned.
On October 9, 2014, firefighters were called to a house located at 4720 North Union Road. While firefighters fought to contain the flames and rescue a dog trapped inside the burning property, neighbors talked to police officers and informed them that a man wearing a blue hoodie was seen trying to break into other homes on the same block.
Police took off on a search and soon after apprehended the suspicious man. Fire officials say the origin of the fire seemed suspicious and this is why police believe the blue-hoodie man is involved in the crime.
What kind of monster does that?!
A good reminder to have an in-case-of-emergency sign for figher fighters of # and type of animals inside the house. This way, in case something similar happens, the FD is aware.
Kudos to these guys and their heroics in saving this sweet baby!
The world gets more and more disappointing every day and yet there are those who persevere through the evil because they don’t know any other way. They keep my hope alive.
Where are you guys getting that the home/pet owner is the one who set the fire and tried to kill the dog? From the text :{“neighbors talked to police officers and informed them that a man wearing a blue hoodie was seen trying to break into other homes on the same block. … Police took off on a search and soon after apprehended the suspicious man. “} This insert clearly shows they captured a man that wasn’t the homeowner. Something else that has been clearly proven is that some of you need some work on your reading comprehension.
Thanks goodness!
