“They were in an isolated spot where if they had been left for the night they would not have survived. They would have struggled with no warmth and no mother.”
Was it alien abduction?! Nah, but when a missing dog came home with mysterious surgical incisions, his owner suspected some seriously foul play at hand.
“The fox has gotten used to getting in and out of the house through the cats’ door,” said his owner, Werner.
It wasn’t the safest decision, perhaps, but Judy Milden’s own maternal instincts took over when a mother bear attacked her dogs last weekend.
“They are so in love with Freight and just couldn’t bear parting with him. Freight was part of their family well before he was available for adoption.”
