When Willow was rescued by the Evergreen Animal Protective League in Colorado (EAPL), she was one sick puppy, WITH PUPPIES!  The new momma had a laundry list of medical issues, but she stayed tough and fought through it for her puppies.  She’s much better now, and all her pups were adopted out, but now EAPL needs to find a permanent home for her, and we’re proud to present her as our LWD Adoptable Dog of the Day!

Let’s let the EAPL introduce you to Willow:

Miss Willow came to rescue with babies and HW (heartworm) many months ago.  As a red-nose pit bull mix sick and with puppies, her chances of getting out of the shelter were not good, but fortunately a foster home stepped up and here she is.  Her babies have been adopted, her HW has been treated and now she is ready to find a home of her own.

Willow is about 3 1/2 years old and is a hugger.  In fact, her best trait is that she will rest her chin on your shoulder and give you a hug ANY TIME!  She loves laying on her back, wiggling her body back and forth while she stretches with her back legs into the air.  She has a fun personality and mixes well with the two other dogs in her foster home as well as two children under 10!

Willow would make a great companion for a Colorado adventurous type.  She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands.  She’s not fond of felines, so NO cats for this girl.  For more information on Willow, contact [email protected].

Have you been thinking about making a new, four-legged addition to your family?  Do you live in or around Evergreen, Colorado?  Well, maybe Willow is the dog you’ve been looking for!  Be sure to click her to go to the EAPL website, and check out Willow or any of the other really great rescue dogs and cats they have available.  Remember, don’t shop!  Adopt!
