Last month we brought you the story of Molly, an Australian Shepherd who was hit by a snow plow in New Hampshire. Thanks to generous donations and the staff at All Better Pets Molly was is on the mend and reunited with her veteran owner.

When Molly arrived at the Center for Advanced Veterinary Care in December she had four broken legs. She had been hit by a plow truck and her owner was at a loss for what to do for her. He couldn’t afford to pay for her surgery and thought he’d have to put his beloved pet down.

The staff stepped into saving her life. The Marine veteran had surrendered her thinking she was too badly hurt and left in tears, but the staff got to work to raise the funds needed to save her life. As word got out about Molly donations started flooding in and she soon received the lifesaving surgery she needed.

Now three weeks later Molly is back at home with her very grateful owner.

“All of us are going to miss seeing that wagging tail when we come in in the morning,” said Sarah Jervinis of All Better Pets, the non-profit the center established for pets in need like Molly.

The staff is thrilled that Molly got her happy ending and her story is going to help many other dogs in need. Donations far exceeded the $4,000 needed for Molly’s surgeries. Over $45,000 was raised in an effort to save Molly. The excess money will be put towards helping other dogs in need.
