toby1A woman in Spokane, Washington was driving home from work when she was bumped by another car. She was shocked when she looked at the other car and saw a Chihuahua behind the steering wheel.

Tabitha Ormaechea was stopped at a red light and reaching for her chap stick when she felt her something bump her car. When she looked up she couldn’t believe what she saw.

“When I looked up, there was no one in the car, just a little dog up on the steering wheel peeking over looking at me,” said Ormaechea. “I was shocked, I didn’t know if I was crazy, or if this little dog had taken a joy ride.”

Jason Martinez had left his dog Toby in his car while he ran into a store real quick. He had only been shopping for a few minutes before Toby got into some trouble.

“Someone just ran into the store and asked if anyone has a brown car and I said, yeah, me why,” said Martinez.

Toby somehow had knocked the car out of gear causing it to leave its parking space. Thankfully the accident was minor and there were no injuries and very little damage.
