Panda Paws Rescue of of Vancouver, WA is chronicling the post amputation progress of London, the Pit Bull who suffered untended injuries after a fall from a window, resulting in the double amputation of his front legs. This video uploaded on August 5 shows London doing remarkably well 4 days following his surgery.

Our story 6 Month Old Pit Bull Undergoes Surgery After Fall From Window Compounded by Owner Neglect, from August 3, tells the backstory on London’s injury and how he came to Panda Paws.

Panda Paws director Amanda Geise introduced the video with this update:
London has definitely been keeping us on the move & on our toes! He loves to explore, is getting extremely good at jumping up on you to give you pawless hugs, chasing his kitty friends (that he ADORES) & playing with the little foster canine siblings he’s got here in our home! He is living the ultimate puppy dream! This afternoon the sun was shining & it was incredibly hot… so guess who learned all about that magical water contraption, commonly known as “THE HOSE”?? Yep, you guessed it! London LOVES fresh, cold water from the hose! This afternoon he also had a house call from one of his Veterinarians & physical therapist, Dr. KristyAnn Correa-Brock from Animal Care Clinic. She said he looks absolutely incredible & was pleasantly surprised to see just how well he is getting around only 4 days post-surgery! His incisions look perfect, he is healing like a champ & we are almost ready to start physical therapy! London ALSO got a visit from Heather Treadway who will be designing his custom shirts that will be padded at the chest & keep him from ever needing to drag his chest across the ground again! Heather is thrilled to be a part of this Team London project as well & she already have tons of creative ideas to get to work on!

Amanda has recently set London up with his own Team London  Facebook page and a website. The web address can be found in the video.

I am so happy they have all come together to give this sweet boy the life he should have had in the first place. He is such a beautiful dog inside and out.
