  1. good reminder .. hope people figure out that most pet stores in houston offer FOSTER and “DOG POUND” DOGS as adoptions; they’re aren’t so much puppy mills as their used to be.. imho.

    hope people don’t paint all petco’s and petsmarts with the same brush shown here.

  2. Doug, puppy mills are still a major problem because instead of selling through stores, they have gone online. Just Google puppies and you get direct access to any puppy mill puppy you want. It’s unregulated. So the filthy business continues, just in an even more vile way because they can totally lie by showing cute pictures of non-existant conditions, and since they ship you a puppy, you never get to see with your own eyes where they come from. NO responsible breeder will take your credit card and ship you a puppy. They will be just as interested in you as you are to buy a dog, so they’ll require you to visit them and interview, etc. Very few responsible breeders will even ship a puppy unless it’s to someone they know well already. So the battle continues. I do wish this video added to not shop online.
