Blog Paws West Report: The Lite Version
I can’t believe it has taken me days to collect myself and start catching up again. Oh wait – now that I look back on my calendar, I can believe it. The last week has escaped me. As did the majority of BlogPaws West. Unfortunately I had to bail early to get back to Vermont, so I’ll let you in on what I was able to see in about five hours. I must admit to overestimating my ability to cover much ground: I was too busy catching up with other bloggers to get much in the way of pics. I’ll set aside time next year for full coverage, and if you want a better idea of what goes on see my earlier post from the spring Blog Paws session.
My first of two flights. Not a good sign!
The view from my room.
Cosmo did his best to raid schwag bags!
Custom shirts were a great touch.
Bring an empty suitcase – you’ll need it!
I met this fellow at the front door.
The Pedigree blogger squad.
I was thrilled to see a Greyhound in attendance.
More freebies!
The main hall.
Kyla’s lovely opening performance.
Sharon Castellanos of Grouchy Puppy and Maria Goodavage from Dogster.
Caught with a headset again. What can I say, I live on the phone!
And that’s all I have to share. Sessions and speeches did not kick off until the next day, so if you want to see the rest of the story head over to the Blog Paws site. I hope to meet you at Blog Paws 2011. Big thanks to Pedigree for sponsoring my trip!

You had a very cool five hours! I commend you for staying on the plane when you saw the duct tape holding it together! That is one nice haul of schwag, too!
Who’s the hound?
Wow looks like you had a great time! I sure don’t think I would have been so calm with the duct tape on the plane! OMD is it on the engine too???
Sure wish we could have been there! Thanks for being there for all of us!
Peace, Blu and Tessa too
Sure glad you arrived safe and sound in your redneck plane

Looks like you made the most of your 5 hours. That’s a LOT of swag!
Is that really duct tape on the plane?! Sure looks like it. If it is, I can understand why you might be a little uneasy.
We just did a post for the Pedigree Adoption Drive.
God bless.
Twiggy is very honored that she made your list of pictures in your 5 hour visit to BlogPaws! Hope to see you next time around, and for a longer stay!

Hey Neil! It was great to finally meet you, and so glad you arrived alive after duct taped plane and all. (Zounds, aren’t you the one who is a bit uneasy on planes?) Thanks for having someone snap that pic of you and Sharon and me. I may have to nab that for Dogster, duly credited, of course.
As for the gator toy, Jake enjoyed his over a period of several hours, after which all the squeakies were over the rainbow bridge…
I’m tardy for the pawty Neil. Was searching images on Google and this popped up, a nice reminder of a hectic but great conference. Love this pic, because you can crop me out easily if you need a new profile pic :0)
And as Maria says, the gator is a big hit with our Cleo too. Noisy toy = joy & conflict resolution all rolled into one.
