Finn’s Rescue: A Wordless Healing Journey

No words are required to describe the touching transformation you will see here as an abandoned, starved dog finds love and security in a new home, and quite honestly, none would likely suffice.

Life With Dogs post end paw print

The remainder of Finn’s journey will be documented here.

Your right, words in this case cannot say enough.

I can only pray that who ever abuses any living being suffers the same fate that they did to their victims, only a thousand times over!

    Thanks!

That is exactly why we do so much volunteering with rescue. Seeing them bloom, trust and love again and there is nothing better than seeing a tail wagging that make no longer having TV or the daily cup of coffee at Starbucks so worth it!!!

I think everyone should try to foster a shelter pet even if it is for one weekend. Just having the information about the dog, like whether they counter surf or if they don’t walk on the leash well can be the deciding factor on whether that dog or cat finds their forever home. And all it takes in one little weekend out of your life to save a life. <3

Thank you all so much for caring about Finn and his recovery. He’s doing great and I promise to put together another follow-up video sometime soon. He’s getting happier and happier. He now DANCES across the threshold when he comes in from outside and he’s started doing a full-body wiggle wag, not just the tail. He and Kelee greet me at the door together and Finn is just so happy to have someone to welcome. He’s turning out to be a wonderful gift. Blessings to you all. Jeane, Finn and the crew

If Finn’s story can inspire others to help an animal in need, perhaps his suffering was almost worth it–now that he’s safe. He’s getting a TUMMY! I’ll post an updated video this Monday.

Hi Linda–That beautiful white shepherd is my man Kelee. Yes, he lives with me along with the little black and tan girl named Skye. I never planned on having three dogs but they all presented themselves to me in need. Losing his leg was very difficult for Kelee, but he’s doing well now. You can read his story and Skye’s on my blog, High-Road-Artist.com, if you’re interested. They both have powerful histories too.

I wanted to thank you all, again, for the tremendous support you’ve sent our way. It’s made a surprising difference to me. Bringing Finn in and bringing him back to some level of health has been more challenging than I thought it would be. To have this kind of thumbs-up from other dog lovers has seen us through when the going got tough. I believe we are out of the woods now, though, but your continued belief will be welcome. I’ll be posting an updated video on Monday. He’s doing stunningly well. Love and blessings and thanks to you all, Jeane, Finn and the crew

I wanted to thank you all, again, for your continued support. Bringing Finn in and getting him back to a level of health was more challenging than I’d anticipated. Supportive comments from other dog lovers really did see us through the harder moments. Finn is doing better by the minute, I’m thrilled to say, but your continued belief will still come in handy. I’ll post an updated video on Monday. As I’ve told a couple of you already, Finn is getting a tummy! Warms my heart to see it. Stay tuned!
