Scottish Double-Nosed Dog Can't Find a Home

2.7.14 - Double-Nosed Dog1

An adorable Glasgow dog with two noses is in need of a family. His friends may have moved on, but Snuffles has been passed over, time and again, because of his uniqueness. Could you be the right person to give him a home?

Though he is only four months old, Snuffles was placed at Glasgow’s Dog Rehoming Centre a month ago after being shuffled around four other shelters.

The Belgian shepherd’s double sniffers are the result of a congenital defect, but that doesn’t make him defective – it makes him even more loveable. He can even wiggle the noses independently of one another!

If you’re interested in adopting Snuffles, please contact Glasgow’s Dog Rehoming Centre.

He actually does! He noses are angled to each side of his face. So you are only seeing the inside nostrils in these photos!

I bought my cat when he was the last left out of his litter. He was born without a tail. I would adopt this pup without a second thought if I lives anywhere near him! Every pup needs love!

I can’t believe this unique dog has had 2 do this, if it was a child with a disability, ie- downs, autistic etc, this wouldn’t be happening, this dog is as much human as family, if not more xx

Shoot, I love a dog that is unique and a conversation piece. I would take him in a heart beat just because he is unusual, not to mention I love dogs and German Shepherds as well but unfortunately where I live you cannot have a dog over 20lbs. unless the dog is a Service Dog. I already have an 84lb. Boxer as a Guide Dog as I am blind so that should tell you that I love unique as most Guide Dog Schools will not use a Boxer as a Guide Dog so he is unique in his field and definitely draws attention. I hope this pup can find a forever loving good home who appreciates his uniqueness.
