My dog Fedor chewed on my carpet, the internet said I should use horseradish to stop it.

The internet was mostly wrong…. but more importantly… mostly right.

  1. OMD, that is hysterically funny – there is a pup with a weird sense of taste.

  2. Bitter Apple was my German Shepherds favorite flavor when mixed with the wood moldings in the house…yummmy!

  3. I tried hot peppers once on my dog…..nope didn’t work…now she goes crazy anytime there is something hot n spicy to eat!

I say this little dog must have loved the horseradish head buzz! Let’s do it AGAIN!

  4. I have seen rescues do that.. Some I used bitter apple to stop the chewing, but then again others thought it tasted nice.. so had to go to squirting them with water when they did it.. had one who thought the water was a game… also have used crushed chilli …. but horshradish or wasabit is a bit to much.. it sticks to thier nose and stays there burning it.. Oh well.. best of luck.. if anything take the carpet out.. ha
