In McLean, VA, at the Boone & Sons Jewelry Store, Teddy will greet you at the door as you stop by to check out the latest and greatest bling. Since 1966, the Boone family has long been known for giving back to the local community schools and the local Red Cross. A new generation of Boones is taking over the leadership in the family business. Amanda, Morgan, and Erik Boone, all dog lovers, have decided its time to put their own paw print on the way their company gives back.

The McLean store is hosting its first “Diamond in the Ruff” event on Sunday, August 26, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Boone & Sons will donate 20% of their sales to Mutts Matter Rescue. They’re also donating a $1,250 diamond bone-shaped necklace as a raffle item, and the good news is the 100% of the raffle money will go directly to Mutts Matter. Some of the Mutts Matter rescue dogs will also be at the store to meet and greet customers and hopefully use their puppy-dog eyes to find their new forever homes.
