Woman Apparently Captures Video of Her Dog’s Ghost

“I think her appearing was her telling me, ‘It’s okay, mama, I’m here. I’m not mad at you. I will be here waiting for you. Now go play with that little ‘un.’”

Two weeks ago, Kimberley Pearce of North Carolina had to have her 12-year-old cocker spaniel, Sadie, put to sleep.  While getting some video of her new dog, a strange figure appears to walk across the screen.  Is it a camera glitch, a hoax, or do you think it’s really Sadie’s spirit?

This is Pearce’s account of the scenario:

It was only a few days after when I was showing the video to a friend that I saw her appear. I just knew it was her. That was my dog.

I was in shock – I went outside and started to cry. But then I started to smile. I had been begging for her to give me a sign.

You can see it’s a white and caramel color, and so was my little girl.

The video had been taken around lunchtime and no cars go past my house to make a reflection, and no birds for a shadow or anything. We live quite far out in the country.

There was nothing else it could have been. Before I kind of did and didn’t believe in ghosts. Now I really do believe.

It might sound strange, but a couple of days after Sadie died I finally went and sat out on the porch and had a half hour conversation with her.

I felt so guilty because I was the one who made that decision to have her put down. I signed the papers. I was shaking even just writing my name on them. And I just wanted to tell her, ‘Sadie, I’m so, so sorry and please forgive me for what I’ve done.’

In that conversation I just begged and begged for her or God to send me a sign so that I knew she was okay.

My husband got me Bella the morkie puppy because I hadn’t stopped crying since Sadie died and it was to try and help.

I already suffer from severe depression and anxiety attacks, and through the months of Sadie’s illness I was getting worse and worse.

Sadie was sweet as she could be. She was a mama’s girl.

I think her appearing was her telling me, ‘It’s okay, mama, I’m here. I’m not mad at you. I will be here waiting for you. Now go play with that little ‘un.’

It warmed my heart. A psychic has also told me that she walks around with me. Nobody knew how badly I’d felt. I don’t feel bad anymore and I can play with Bella.

It’s just like her. She was such a loving dog. She used to sleep with me, she’d be curled up around my head and my husband said it looked like she was a hat.

When we were home she used to follow me around. She was always at my feet. Whoever walked through the door, whether she knew you or not, she was your best friend. She never snapped or bit or growled

I’m not holding out for Sadie to appear again, I think she was just answering me after our conversation out on the porch.

I would like for people to know that lost ones are here with you. They can come back to let you know they are okay and that they love you. I want people to see Sadie and smile.

  1. I believe this. I had a similar experience after I lost my 15 year old standard Poodle, Sammy. He was my love! I always called him my canine soul mate. I too had to make that difficult decision and was completely heartbroken in the days after. I’d talk to him and apologize, wishing he were there with me. The second night after we said goodbye, I got into bed and turned off the light. My younger dog always slept at my feet and Sammy’d had slept directly next to me, up near my head and shoulders. On this night, I felt paw steps on the bed to next to me and a dog lay down. I thought Sophie had moved up by me, so I reached over to pet her, but there was nothing there. I turned on the light and saw that she was exactly where she’d been when I turned it off. I wasn’t dreaming. I’d barely put my head on the pillow, and I *know* what I felt. It took me a moment, but then a smile came over me and I said “hey buddy…,thanks. I miss you too.” and then fell asleep feeling much more content. I will always believe he came to me that night to let me know he’s okay and he’s still watching over me. No one will ever be able to tell me differently. 🙂

  2. I believe there is a logical explanation. The ghost like image is only seen on the clear plastic air deflector on a register. I believe when the air conditioning turned on, it caused moisture to condensate on the plastic before drying it off.

  3. The morning after my 18 month old great dane died from a brain aneurysm, I went to the restroom about 5am. when I looked up from the toilet and in the door way was a black figure shaped just like Sampson and he tilted his head like he always did. Sampson was black in color.

  4. I have seen quite a few quick images of my pets that passed. Some were so solid they almost looked as they did in real life. Lola my cat walked right past the bedroom door and right through the wall. I have felt someone jump on the bed where either the cats or dog slept and no one was there. Its wonderful to know they still surround you even after they have passed.

  5. I too had a similar experience with my cat Nadine. The night after she died I could hear her meowing in the backyard. She had a very distinct meow. Then that evening I felt her leap up on my bed and come to me. I too was not asleep. I’ll never forget this experience or her. It was her saying her final goodbye to me and it gave me some comfort to know that she was with me. in spirit.

  6. I believed this … I had a rabbit that died from stomach cancer … When I cemented him, i told the vet i wanted his ashes then I took it to my backyard and spread it on his favorite corner.

A few weeks later, one evening, i was enjoying my dinner on my patio when i suddenly looked over to that corner and saw a brown figure … looking more closely … it was a figure of a small rabbit … then as it sudden appear, it suddenly vanished … a few minutes later, out of the blue, another rabbit ( a real one ) ran across my yard with three little baby rabbits behind it, ah … so cute, so i guessed my dream for my rabbit came true … i always wanted him to be free and have his own family … and i guess he did in his next life !

  7. I truly believe that our best friends stay by our side until they know we are alright, then they head to Rainbow Ridge.

  8. I know every bit of what you saw and said is true!!! My boston terrier was Sadie as well. She was 12. I had to put her to sleep in 2012. I still sometimes feel her jump on my bed at night. I have been a firm believer in spirits since I was very young. I saw my first one when I was about 5 and had many experiences since. I am now 62. Oh yes, that was your Sadie!!!!!

  9. I had to put my Maltese’ Samson to sleep in December 2014.. 5 minutes after Samson was put to sleep’ his presence was strong around my feet’- his presence was strong with me for over a month. I went on a trip, his presence was there..

  10. I believe her totally. Years ago a similar thing happened to me. I’d lost a very much loved cat due a fatal illness. I came home one evening and plainly saw his silhouette walk toward me in greeting. Astonished, I turned on the light and he disappeared. Recently a similar thing happened to my mom with the cat she lost.

Quantum physics shows us that we are made primarily of energy – not matter. In fact what we preceive as matter is just a constantly renewing ‘printout’ of our energetic being.
How is it that we can believe in wifi, radio waves and gamma bursts from the stars, all of which are beyond our 5 senses, and yet when someone tells us tha they connected to a living being -after their ‘death’ transformation, – we call it anything but real.
I had some incredible experiences with my Mom after she died. (She was an animal lover too.) You can tell me I’m crazy – But remember it’s impossible to prove a negative (“there’s no such thing as ghosts!”). Just because we don’t preceive transformed beings with our senses, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Energy doesn’t die – it merely transforms.
I have no doubt that Bella still exists – in some form – and found a way to message her beloved owner.
