Solo the dog has struck up an unlikely friendship with a tiger. The tricolour Border Collie and the eight-month old tiger cub are inseparable – sleeping, eating and playing together.
The new buddies even share meals from the same bowl and groom one another. Game keeper Ashley Gombert, from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, first noticed his trusty dog was friendly with the ferocious cat when he spotted them splashing around in a lake.
